It rained and rained and rained for about two hours today. Now the area is fresher and cleaner almost. The light sun is shining through the window. Its very calm, and serene. Funny how one minute it can be cold and grey and showers and the next light and sunny and nice. Except just metres away there is bound to be honking cars and chatter of people. I do kind of prefer it sometimes when it is quieter. I think everyone should just sit once in a while and rest. I mean its lucky that I have a chance to do that being a child and being on my half term. But some adults the only time the sit down is when they are getting in to bed. And they don't have much sleep. Really people have got to make time for that.
I just took Mutley out for a walk, he hurt himself on the way out the door because he tried to come back in. I guess he took one look at the rain and the cold and changed his mind. But I made him go out. I took him down the beach, because they let dogs on the beach now. It was totally deserted (desserted? dezerted?) and it was very windy literatley blowing me backwards. I took one look and changed my mind then. But Mutley made me carry on, and the waves the were truly massive, in fact I admit they scared me a little. Its lucky the council people put more shingle on the beach otherwise the sea would be in the houses by now. Well not by now because everythings calmed down now!
It feels weird that Mum is at work and I am at home, really. Because I Don't usually have that because she always used to be at home working in the pub. Dad has to stay home all the time though, he hasn't been out the poor thing, never left the house, in ages.
I am going to Scotland on Tuesday! That should be an adventure, I am getting the train to a station with Sam, then helped across London by Robbie put on a GNER train is that what they call them still? And then to Berwick? or is it Edinburgh? Who knows but I'll be alright. Pity I just finished one of my books that I bought last week, iI am bound to finish the other soon as well so I have to sort that out. I will probaly just pick something from mybook shelf. I might read Pirates again! Although I think that is one of those kind of books that you can only reado nce. Because the beginning is not very good. I had to work to stay hooked then it grabbed me.
